The screenplay goes for a toss as the director Dilip Raja has disappointed many with his horrible narration. One song in the film is pretty decent but the BGM is pathetic and irritates you completely. Editing is pathetic as close to 20 minutes could have been easily edited out. After a point, the film gets so boring that you do not understand where the film is headed to.Ĭamerawork by Murali Mohan Reddy was just about okay. The plot goes for a toss and the movie only concentrates on elevation and unnecessary comedy. The second half goes for a toss as routine scenes are thrown time and again at the audience. There was good scope to end the film in an emotional note but the makers failed to do it. Upon this, there is absolutely no flow in the proceedings. There are way too many unwanted scenes and forced comedy in the first half which irritates the audience. The basic point of the film itself is silly and defies logic in many areas. Vinod Kumar, Sri Lakshmi, and a few other supporting casts did their roles to the best of their abilities. His comedy track along with Jeeva’s performance was quite good in the film. ![]() It was good to see Babu Mohan after a long time on screen. Sudha, who did the role of Ali’s mom did a decent job in her limited screen presence. Acting-wise, Rishita is just about okay but she provides superb eye candy throughout the film. His mannerisms and comedy touch brings a lot of relief in the film. What is that and how Pandu solves all these problems is the rest of the story.?Īli still has it to play a hero even at this age and has given a very good performance in the film. He starts fighting for his love and one fine day finds out a crazy link with the village and marriage situation in the village. In this process, Pandugadu falls in love with Kanakratnam(Rishita). Upset with this, the village heads bring in Pandugadu to take snaps of the wannabe brides and grooms. On the other hand, there is a village Yetimuka where none of the youth is getting hitched. Whenever he takes photos of unmarried people, they get hitched very soon. Titled Pandugadi Photo Studio, this film has hit the screens today. I am sure that with time, BhaDiPa will give us more amazing content (and its pace too will improve).Starring : Ali, Bhavya Sri, Babu Mohan, Chitram SrinuĪfter a long gap, Ali has come up with his new film as a hero. Pandu effortlessly falls into that ‘no dokyala shot’ category content which you can’t help but eventually fall in love with. But Marathi industry is a pro at subtlety. I have always believed that creating or writing content that is simple yet relatable and engaging is the most difficult job. Since Pandu is one of the very first web series from BhaDiPa, I would say that the team has done a good job. Though the entire series of 6 episodes bring a smile on your face, the last episode, as mentioned above, may completely change the way we perceive this profession. We do not realise what our policemen go through on a day to day basis while dealing with unnecessary violence, drama, and crime. They change the way you look at this profession and people associated with this profession, especially at the lower level.īandh, the episode was moving. To be precise, they were thought-provoking. Garibansathi and Bandh were also amazing episodes. ![]() At one point, I was like I can at least ‘mute’ this lady poor Pandu doesn’t even have that option. How can I forget to mention Pournima Manohar, the annoying teacher in the ‘Open Day’ episode? She was so convincingly annoying. ![]() The scenes were funny and Pandu’s boredom, relatable. Every single person goes through this phase in his/her life – these days, more than once or twice. The episode I loved the most was Melancholy. Thanks to Suhas Sirsat and the entire cast for keeping us hooked with their excellent performances. Even though it is slow-paced, you will not stop watching the series midway due to boredom. Suhas Sirsat is a fantastic actor, no second thoughts about it. It’s a slow-paced web series based on the life of policemen, the protagonist of which is Pandu. If you are a fan of BhaDiPa, Pandu is the kind of content you watch BhaDiPa for – light-hearted and humorous yet thought-provoking, at times.
